yeah, it seemed you launched at a pretty low rpm and bogging the motor

11.203 was the best pass. I was hoping for 10 seconds but maybe when Im used to the bike more. 60ft was 1.964-2.222. This pass was 2.024.

Shoot for a 60ft of around 1.7-1.8 and you'll be in the 10s. Also, get a feel for where the bike stops making power, and set ur shift light EXACTLY where u think you'll maximize the gains. Higher isn't always better. This way you're not thinking... You're reacting. Light = Shift. Then concentrate on getting the time it takes u to react down.
You'll get fast quickly following that formula. There's a lot more to it, in the seat, but, that's the gist of it.
Low 11s are a good start bro! Don't be bummed about that lol You're first 1/4 is never as you hope. It's a lot more technical than most people believe.

That may be my problem, I dont look for the light when shifting, I was going by the sound of the engine.

Your bike should easily get into the 10s with no problem. From the vid, looks like you launched at 4K rpm before dropping the clutch and it bogged a bit.

Try around 7000 - 8000 and feather it when you launch.

I go from 1st to 2nd using my clutch, but from 2nd on up, I go clutchless.

This is from an old J model, so you'll be into the 10s in no time :thumbup

here's a video of me having a play at my first ever drags....first and last....there were no corners?!?! WTF!:cuckoo:

As a matter of interest, have a listen to my revs...I couldn't get any traction on the strip and was wheel spinning all the way down to the end!
