Has anyone done this? Reviews? Worth the money?
Seems like a good deal with everything being supplied, shame for the money its only a half day, Donington looks like a nice track though!

Ive been looking into this aswell, for me as a newbie on a 'big bike' and wanting to move onto trackdays i think it could be a good idea. And Donington is my local track

Read some people saying that for them it wasnt great as they had more experience on track and didnt learn much other than how to go around Donington

Scoff, link is dead.
Reason I'm going with Ron's is that the kit is included. Doesnt make sense for me to bring my leathers and gear over. Too heavy to check in, otherwise I'd be all over doing some track days as well. :(

I have done this, and crashed he he

Its a fun thing to do, but you do get just 3 x 15 mins on track iirc. If your after a track experience with some tips, then its great, clearly the bike and kit is all supplied and we, as I went with about 15 other mates had a great time.

You do the 600cc first, then you can return within 2yrs iirc to do the 1000cc course.

All good fun, I walked away and nowt to pay for low siding there bike at Silverstone, it was about 18 months ago.

British Superbike School Track Days - Professional High Performance Motorbike Race Track Training Courses

I did this one two years ago. Its at Blyton Park which isn't the biggest track (they have changed it since I did mine and it looks better) but its good for newbies. You get quite a lot of track time. 3 students per instructor. How the day worked was you'd have a lecture on something (braking, gears, apex etc) then go out for 20 mins and practice it with the instructor watching you.

It was the best day i had ever had on my bike (until my recent track day at Cadwell). Its on your own bike (but you can hire CBR 600's). Its all transferable to road riding too. So i think if your there to learn, why not learn on your own bike?

My best mate has booked it also for later this year.

I've done this twice now once at Silverstone and then again at Donnington, I recommend it for a newbie and deffo to get use to the track (as its not your bike) the instructors are really good and pass on a lot of knowledge, just be careful with Donnington if its raining as the track gets very slippery due the being in the flight path for the airport.

I went with my two mates but I just watched, they were both a bit disappointed as there was no ron haslam
he turned up in the last hour of day popped his head in each classroom briefly then went out on track for a play- he pulled a huge minger of a wheelie all the way down start straight it was well impressive !
they both said the instuctors were good/helpful but for that kind of money you want a lot more interaction with ron haslam
his missus was there all day tho doing meet n greet and sorting paper work and money
Donny is an awesome track tho I've been there twice now on normal trackdays
