I am looking into getting a vance and hines slip on for my 2009 kawasaki zx6r. I currently have an M4 moto gp slip on and dont have any of the stock exhaust from the previous owner. Would I have to buy something extra because based on looking at pictures of the vance and hines slip on it looks like I would need the pre muffler, is that true or could I just switch them out. Thank you

You would most likely either need the pre-muffler, or a 'link pipe'. Each slip on mfg makes their own, I think. They are almost certainly not interchangeable.
I had a Vance&Hines on my bike when I bought it i would suggest against it. It makes the worst droning noise at cruising speeds it used to drive me insane,but that just my .02
I have a CS One Tapered and absolutely love it. Louder than stock, but not obnoxious. Its deeper and more aggressive sounding. Best part is I got mine for $180.

Lol the reason they have them is because they are very very good quality. I had a akro didn't like it then a Jardine gp1 didn't like it. Should have just got the m4 on the beggining
