Hello all,
New to the forum but I have been lurking around for a while.
I picked up a 2007 zx6r a few weeks ago. Actually a day after we got 2 feet of snow just outside of Boston lol. Been dying to ride her. Only managed a few laps around the parking lot. (first bike)
I decided it was time to take it to work yesterday. It was supposed to be 40F out but it only got to like 34. I come outside to head home and the rim is on the ground : ( Looks like it took a nail, there is a small pin sized hole. Got a ride down the street to pick up some slime to put in the tire to try and make it home. That worked and I made it home (20 minutes).
so my question ... can you patch bike tires or should it just be replaced ?
She needs a front anyways so I was looking at a set of Pilot 2CTs. I'm not sure if I need them though, being a new rider in all I don't think I will be leaning too much.
Thanks,
