I raced a Ninja 650 in the Middleweight division in 2014 and 2015, did 12:18.9 in 2014 and 11:25.6 in 2015 respectively on the same bike. Good and Bad times there, haven't been back since race day 2015.

If my friend gets an entry this year I will be back wrenching but won't be racing it again. If ya want to know anything specific about the place hit me up.

Generally, I think you guys are nuts but give you tons of credit for having the huevos for it.

Do you mind if I ask a couple of questions?

1) Did the middleweight division allow inline 4's? If so, why did you pick a Ninja 650? Torque more important than redline horsepower in an event like this?
2) How far apart do the bikes start? Just curious how much time they allow for various times.
3) And how do they seed you for the start? Seems like you'd want the fastest guys at the front like in a marathon or triathlon, so that spacing doesn't become an issue.

Very impressive videos (and riding of course!)

Pretty sure the 650 is a parallel twin... ;)
