Beware!!

Okay I just got rims back from the powder coater and I'm really excited to get them on. Take them to the shop where my bike has been residing and they get the tires and start to mount them and the rear wheels won't fit. You can see in the pics where I had the guy who coated them take off as much as he could where the "cush" drive resides. I'm not sure sure if that's the right spelling. Anyway this still isn't for sure a fix but if you take your wheels to get done make triple sure they know what they are doing and don't coat where there shouldn't be!!! I will know tomorrow if they will work as is.

The dog in the pic is my male boxer. He was born October 10th 2008 so he is still growing.. You have to admit he is a stud and his name is Oliver Mud

wheels look good mate, did you have to getthem sand blasted before powder coating? The place that will do mine over winter said that they need to be sand or bead blasted first

tinted screen, hel lines, intergrated tail light, rearset adjusters, K&N air filter, +4 advancer, -1 front, pazzo knock offs, ape cct, zip tie mod,07 shock + rear disk, 08 swingarm, vernhil rear line, 636 exhaust with dan moto cf can, Kleen air mod..

still lovin forever!

yes they were sand blasted first. One thing to keep in mind is when they sand blast tell them not to blast the very center of the wheel where the wheel bearing sit. They guy did mine and it made them coarse and my shop had a heck of a time getting the bearings back in!

I would love to see a 636 in matte khaki green, ala Triumph Scrambler

Yea they are satin black and they have been holding up really well. Here's a couple more pics of what she looks like now. Not bad for totaled

Next is the brakes. It will be a while though with the baby and job situation

that silver/black combo looks awesome. nice job taking off the flames...nothing against the flames, but without them its a nice change for sure.

I don't understand how this bike is "totaled". It looks completely fine, and the black wheels look much better than stock.

Also, your Boxer is bad ass, I have a 3 year old and he is soo studly.

That is a great looking bike, the changes just make the bike better. And i love boxers, i think they are one of the best dogs you can have. My dad has a 3 y.o. female and she is great, you can just wrestle the crap out of her and she will just come back for more. and i understand why they call them boxers, she has hit me in the face so many time with her paws while playing with her.
