Bkmoto headlights

Hey everyone. Sorry for the newb question. I want to get the bkmoto headlight kit. I saw online that the 2013+ zx6r headlights will fit in the 2013+ ninja 300. My buddy has a 300 so i put them next to eachother. On the outside with the front fairings on they look diffrent. Anyways, just wanted to know if the ninja 300 headlights will fit into the zx6r that way i can buy ninja 300 headlights off ebay for half the price and do the bkmoto projectors in them. Thanks

If the headlight assembly had the same part #, it would fit.....

Easiest way to check that is to pull up the parts listing on both models and see if it is the same.

Otherwise, use a housing from a ZX6 that will fit your model.

But why not go ahead and modify your present housing?

RJ is correct, easiest way is cross-referrence pt #s

2014 Kawasaki NINJA ZX-6R (ZX636EEF) OEM Parts, Babbitts Kawasaki Partshouse

Kawasaki has history of parts sharing between models, as well as between model years. And unlike Honda & Yamaha normally don't change pt #s just because of a new model year.

The headlights are the same on the OUTSIDE. With the difference in the inside The ZX6R Headlights are Projectors as the 300's Do not have Projectors
Part Numbers are different But if you Buy From BKMOTO.COM they should be able to explain the difference to you I think they are even listed as the Same 2013-Kawasaki zx6r & 300. I believe that it shouldn't be a problem if your going to Gut them anyway and add Bi Xenon Hid Projectors and what Not but if your not it's going to be a waste of time And wished you had added the Bi Xenon Projectors . TRUST ME ASK ME HOW I KNOW.

Then buying a 300 headlight housing would be the more economic route..... as the projectors would 'gut' the assembly anyway, right?
