@ JIMBOZ, +2 is a nice setup. More low-end pull without being too buzzy on the freeway.

I would hate to change the front sprocket often so my choice is 0/0 for fast tracks and road and 0/+2 for smaller tracks.

Just get a SpeedoHealer. If you go back to stock, you will prolly miss that little bit of extra acceleration.

I am at this place right now. Where the eye does not see. Wondering if I should go -1, +2.
I use my ride daily. Hit the canyons with my brother now and then. Wheelies now and then.
Decisions. Decisions.

How does this affect your gas/mileage? I did this to my CRF450R but trail and MX bikes I get. Why would you change a zx6r which has both? Does it make the acceleration more aggressive? Does anyone know how this affects KTRC? I know that tire Sizes can't be changed as it affects the KTRC?

Also I spend a lot of time on the freeways so don't want my revs to change much at the 100kmh mark.

did you read the thread? Gas milage questions are answered numerous times - it makes it worse...

then don't change your gearing...or don't change it "much" if you don't want your RPMs to change "much"

Ah remember the old days when your caps-lock key was broken?

This post caught my eye because I've not yet figured out how to wheelie on purpose. I wheelied a couple times on accident when my clutch was slipping.

Pretty new here but thinking about doing a sprocket swap but i only want to replace one sprocket. Should i do a -1 up front? or a +2/3 in back? will i need to change my chain. What will i lose in mpg because i do a good bit of highway riding just want more torque around town and looking to get the front wheel up. Im not too concerned with hitting top speed much, I've seen 170 indicated on mine stock. Still want to be able to do high speeds but not 170. Any help and opinions are welcome.
Thanks Guys
