Flat spot :confuses:

As above iv got a flat spot at about 3500 rpm it's the same in every gear if I am in traffic at about 60 and open it up if I'm at about 3500 it bogs down some times I can ride through it if the gear is low enough I've had the carbs balanced and they are plugs all the plugs are ok it rides fine apart from that oh it also kicks at about 10500 rpm almost like a stroker dose with a power band

What mods have you got? Migh need a jet kit or lube the throttle cables? Mine used to have a flat spot till I went to the next highest gas octane on the pump..

tinted screen, hel lines, intergrated tail light, rearset adjusters, K&N air filter, +4 advancer, -1 front, pazzo knock offs, ape cct, zip tie mod,07 shock + rear disk, 08 swingarm, vernhil rear line, 636 exhaust with dan moto cf can, Kleen air mod..

still lovin forever!

i would say if you have any mods like exhaust or after market filter you may need a jet kit to solve your issue with the flat spots your having.

+1 on the jet kit.
And honestly,
I got rid of my flat spot on my 01 by using...

in every fill up.

Around here, 10% ethanol is in every pump.
My bike calls out for 91 octane to began with
and finding higher is tough.
So I took a chance and it worked for me.

There will be those that will argue to facts on
higher octane and the Sta-bil both.
But, it worked out well in my bike.

I installed an ignition advance also (+4) about
a year before I started using the Sta-bil and
that cleared it up most of the way.
Then the marine Sta-bil cleared up the rest.
I did not want to spring for a jet kit, so I was
looking for an alternative. lol

Good luck.
You might go ahead and look into synchronizing
your carbs if it has not been done in a while too.

Every petrol station around here has 3 kinds of petrol, e10-91 and preium petrol.

It had it from the start iv had it about a year almost and it had the standard can on it and it was quite bad but since I put the scorpion on with no baffles at all it's a bit better iv not tried higher octane fuel but I'll give that a go It's also got a stock air filter

Why are you riding with the RPM's that low to begin with?

Setp one: Obtain 5-8 squares of clean, dry toilet paper.
Setp two: some prefer to neatly fold while others prefer the "wad" technique, but you need to condense the squares into a thicker unit of TP.

...do I really need to continue?

Cleaned or changed your air filter lately? It sounds like simply changing the needles to a taper that is right for your bike at that rpm would do it. Figure out if it is fat or lean at that rpm. If the rest of the rev range is good look for a needle to with the taper to fix that area only.
