One more problem 😅

Hey guys. So I rode the bike all day I'm talking 6 hours on and off. It rode beautiful until the last hour. What happens now is the rpm bounces from 500 to 2000 on idle (idle is set on 1250ish) if I flick my wrist slightly then get off of it, it dies instantly. So I connected it to the power commander computer and the throttle position is bouncing from 0 to 11 and I'm not touching the throttle. Bad TPS? Obviously could be the power commander unit but wanted some other opinions as well. Tempature is at 210 just as the fan kicks on. I have a spare ECU that I plugged in (thinking maybe it overheated) but it does the same thing.

Since you didn't mention the year of your bike, I can't point you directly at the shop manual for your bike, which you can download from this site for free.......

Best advice you'll ever get:coocoo

In the manual, it will give a troubleshooting matrix to pinpoint the problem.

When the bike is warm, adjust the idle to 1600.

See how it behaves then. Make sure your throttle bodies dont have an air leak. Besides that, it could be an issue with your TPMS.

But first of all, remove the power commander and let the bike run on the trusty factory ECU.

Is your bike just running rough at idle? Or is it running a rough when you are riding it also? I have been having issues with my zx6r for the last month or so similar to you at idle, but it is running pretty rough riding around town also (seems to be fine on hwy). I am thinking of removing the PCV also as I've read some units can shit the bed.

Welp just an update, one of my sensors was cracked so I swapped it out with a spare and it works like a charm. Took away the "2000 rpm start up" and now jumps to 1300 ish and stays there throughout the whole ride. I rode 4 hours straight today and it didn't act up once. Thanks for the help and info guys.
