Puig light smoke vs dark smoke - which to get?

Hey all,

I actually saw a pretty long thread/poll about this but it didn't really answer my question. I was looking at the light smoke vs dark smoke puig windscreen but I was also factoring in how well can a gopro see through each of them?

does anyone have any pics/footage looking through a light smoke/dark smoke screen with a GoPro?

Light, you can't see through the dark, and neither can a camera if you record anything

woohoo we are having fun now
Stupid people say stupid things on the internet, so be wary of who those people are. If you solicit advice on the internet, just keep in mind 99% of what you'll receive is not based on fact or science-and likely atleast 95% of it is based on bullshit and bravado regurgitated from some other schlub who also did not experience any of what they claim and are also full of shit. If you don't like my bluntness- too bad. I am not here to please you, so move along, your approval is not desired nor is it needed. So before opening your pie hole and adding more stupidity, perhaps sit back, listen, absorb and learn something. You know that saying, it is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!

Clear, you can actually see through it and so can your GoPro.

Thanks! couldn't find any videos on youtube of what a light smoke puig looked like on the zx6. I did find people with smoked screens but couldn't tell if they had the dark smoke or not. Sweet bike btw

I ended up going with the light smoke, thanks everyone

What they said. I have a Puig Double Bubble Dark Smoke Windscreen. I wish I would've got the Light Smoke Puig. When tucked in, I can barely see through it on a hot sunny day.

like said, UNLESS YOURE STRICTLY getting anything tinted or colored for visual appeal to others, just go clear man. 1) your cam can see through it and 2) IF you ever need to actually LOOK through your windscreen it would be on a straightaway while on track when your chin is resting on the tank. That said, i wear UA sunglasses under my helmet anyways for both street/track OR you could go with a nice helmet with the integrated tinted visor that flips up n down.

Current Bike (07 ZX6R - silver / maroon): K&N air filter, K&N oil filter, Scotts steering damper, Spiegler front brake lines (orig over fender setup, neon red lines w/ nat. alum banjos), shogun sliders (side/bar end/rear axle), some stickers, some tank grips, Puig windscreen (clear), rear seat cowl, Q4 tires, 1ea staple gun staple (jumper mod), suspension set to ME

My track day vid's thread on ZX6R.com
