bogging and stalling?? please help :(
hey so i just bought a 1999 ninja zx6r and when i picked it up ran fine, brought it back to my house in the back of my truck and strted her up ran it dad took it for a spin around the block she was perfect, it had been sitting for a while so the fuel was stale so he decided to put some lucas fuel stabilizer in it and then i took it for a spin got thru first gear hit second and it bogged hard!!! and then stalled got it home and it was bowing smoke and we topped it up with new fuel by the way, so we siphend that crap out went got all new fuel, filled her up, no more smoking but it will only rev to a certain RPM if you roll on the throttle, if you crack the throttle it boggs down and stalls... any ideas?
thank you

clean the carbs. sounds like you put too much lucas in there, and the mix of that plus the old gas gummed everything up.

Would that cause the carbs to go out of synch? or just cloggy the jets.
