I was watching the broadcast as it happened and my heart sunk lol. I can't imagine what went through his head for that split second. Nerves of steel to remain calm and regain control!

I've watched that a number of times, now..... fookin amazing. So important to stay loose, and let the bike correct itself...... no way he would have been able to react quickly enough to influence the outcome in any sort of positive way. Best to let the lady dance.
