Last TD Weekend of the Season

Woke up to find frost on the bike, but turned out to be a pretty decent weekend. Took it fairly easy, but the bike is still way more capable than me. I really like how stable this bike is, and how it communicates with the rider.

I've made improvements, but I still have some issues, like BP, tightening my lines (probably related to vision) and passing other riders. I just don't trust some of the other riders to have consistent lines (like the guy on the white F3 at 4:55, and the rider who has a little mud on his tires at 6:45)

Here's a little clip before my battery died:

I'm really lucky to have some great tracks near me, and looking forward to the new addition (DR) next year. I may not be able to make a lot of them, but I would like to get a few in.

nice video! Seems like you either have a faster bike or taking better lines than the other guys.

I feel like my bike is a little faster than most stock 600s. Unfortunately there are not too many stock ones out there.

That being said, I've passed liter bikes with no problem, and I've been passed by SV650s. Rider skill and experience come into play here. If you want to get a jump start on being a skilled rider I highly recommend the Motorcycle Riding School - California Superbike School. It helped me A Lot.

Why does Kawasaki say to NOT use the shift light at ANY circumstance on the street? Distraction?

The Kawasaki manual states not to use the shift-up indicator during everyday riding. I think the implication is you do not normally get close to redline during most street riding, therefore they don't want you wait until you see the light to shift.
