Thanks for the video! I think I have narrowed it down to the Graves shorty slip on for now with the DNA air filter ECU flash and haven't decided on velocity stacks? Might be a waste with just a slip on? And not sure if I will need the block off plates or not? Going with the shorty because I need to keep the passenger pegs for the wife! ..... How loud is your full system?
Both slip-on options allow you to keep the passenger foot peg. That’s an optional thing. You can mount the Graves WORKS2 right to the passenger peg just fine. The Carbon mount that is included just reduce weight even further if you wish to remove and replace that passenger foot peg.
The graves shorty pipe is gonna be LOUDDD!
If that’s what your after, all the power to you friend. However, I went for the high mount exhaust simply because it produces more HP and performs better, and I love the way it looks. Because the titanium pipe is exposed, and it’s changing colors slowly, Turning purple/blue overtime, and you can see it. Which looks absolutely WICKED COOL!!!.
My exhaust is not overly loud at all. It is maybe a tap louder than my Yoshimura Alpha Slip-on exhaust at super high RPM’s. But, sometimes it sounds quieter to be honest with normal driving. I know it just sounds incredibly deep and good!! But it’s not very loud at all.
I would not worry with velocity stacks either. All they do is push the peak HP up a little further in the higher RPM range, which may be helpful on a race track.
So, I went with the Works2 high mount exhaust because of performance, looks, and it would be quieter than the Graves Shorty pipe. With either option you can add the Graves titanium headers down the road, and you’d have a full-system like I did. I was tempted by the Graves shorty slip-on. But, in the end it was this picture that swayed my opinion. THAT GORGEOUS BLUE
Also, go to “Biohazardcycles“ website for the best pricing available, when I ordered from them
it was shipped directly from Graves Motorsports too. They even offer (4) payment through PayPal easy pay. It’s super awesome. Their pricing on the Graves exhaust stuff saved me almost $300 dollars.
