Hey everyone, I originally had the Yoshimura slip-on exhaust for my 2019 ZX6R. I ended up selling my Yoshimura slip-on.

I bought the Graves works 2 titanium/carbon slip-on, and the Graves titanium header. To make this a full Graves titanium Works2 system.

I am going to probably get a dynontune directly on the ECU, or run the Graves map specifically for this exhaust and this year bike.

Headers were $1,105, and slip on is $729.

Total= $1,834 for a full titanium Graves system, that picks up 13+ WHP.

I’m excited to get everything installed. I have the slip-on so far, still waiting on the header before I install everything.

Anyone else running this system? Also, that’s a pic of my bike below. No exhaust on it right now. Just open header. Once the Graves headers arrive, I’ll get everything installed.

Not trying to be ‘that guy’….. how are you going to KNOW you gained 13+ rwhp? Dyno immediately before the change and on the same day afterwards?
I am following the “Graves Build” and I’m going to run the Graves ECU map for my bike that will provide their promised gains. I am probably not going to dyno before or even afterwards.

DNA high flow air filter
Graves Titanium headers
Graves titanium Works2 high mount exhaust
Graves custom map for 2019 ZX6R

With this setup Graves has shown 11+ HP in the mid range RPM’s, and 13+ HP in the higher RPM’s.

Reasonable approach, I guess. That’s relatively inexpensive HP in the grand scheme of things @ $100/HP. The weight loss should make that all the more enjoyable.

So, I installed the Graves Works 2 slip-on for now. Just to be able to drive my bike. My ZX6R had no exhaust at all because I sold my Yoshimura slip-on. My Graves titanium headers won’t be here until Tuesday next week.

But, this is just beautiful so far!! The works2 slip-on is just gorgeous. All carbon and titanium. And, it even includes the carbon fiber mount which is $200 by its self. It’s absolutely beautiful, super strong, and very light weight. This slip on is $799 from most retailers, which is expensive for a slip-on exhaust. it’s a great buy because of the materials it’s made of, and you can purchase their headers later on down the road. I’m impressed with the quality of it. You can leave the plastic on the piping so you don’t get finger prints on it when installing. I will use gloves for the headers though.

I will say this. The header install was extremely easy and very smooth. The flanges are made of 7075 billet, so you can get such a confident mount to the cylinder head. That’s probably the only way to put it, you feel confident it’s tight, and confident that it’s done properly and securely mounted with no leaking. There is no questioning it during the install. This was something I was worried about going over the install in my mind before I even did it. I cleaned up and re-used my copper exhaust gaskets. Also, most of my stock headers bolts holding on at the cylinder head were literally finger tight.

They nice but I just cant get past how expensive it all is. If you have the funds to spend more power to you I suppose!

To be honest, I really didn’t have the funds to blow on it. But, It’s something I have always wanted to do. This is still a fairly new bike with low mileage that I plan to keep for years.

The thing about a full system like this, is massive weight reduction, it’s like 22-23lbs saved weight. Then the power improvements have been proven to be quite massive! Then of course the titanium colors blue, purple, gold coming in over time look beautiful. I’ve seen a ZX6R riding down the highway at nighttime with one of these system installed, and that constant blue flame that is blowing out of the tail pipe makes the bike look like it’s freaking boosted or something lol.

The Yamaha R6 is $12,295 MSRP. And weights 419lbs on the street ready to ride.

My Kawasaki ZX6R Non-ABS was $9499 and the graves full titanium exhaust system and custom ECU mapping was $2,099 putting me at a grand total of $11,598. And only 405lbs pounds on the street and ready to go.

The ZX6R with a full Ti system is still a far better value that one would think.

Also, I merely sold a pistol to fund this exhaust system and ECU mapping. So, I was not out of pocket.

Fair enough. Most of the weight savings comes from the rear can and resonator being swapped out which I did with a used mint condition two bros slip on. Then I just decatted my stock headers and boom, full exhaust system. Has the same flames and all that fun stuff. If it was on a naked bike where all the exhaust shows I'd get it, I did the same on a street triple I used to have. But in this bike like 90% of the headers are out of sight anyway.

Either way if it makes you happy that's all that matters.

I almost went this direction. Or I was tempted to grab a cheap (black widow header) that was essentially similar to a de-catted stock ZX6R header. This video shows a good example of the performance.

I’ve got my bike back together. Just waiting on the ECU, before I can assemble the tail section back together.

disassembly/reassembly was super smooth.

URGENT: Anyone who runs the ZX6R and uses the stock header should tighten their bolts that hold the header to the cylinder head. Mine were all finger tight. I literally spun half of them off with 1 finger. (Scary) Something to check is all. I could see where it was leaking exhaust gasses on to my cylinder head.

100% agreed. When I got my 2017 not long ago I heard a ticking and went through and tightened all my header nuts. Some were pretty loose. I've seen that reported quite often with this bike.

ECU will be delivered tomorrow, so I’ll update this with some audio. One cool thing about a full system, is the added ground clearance as well. My bike is lowered 1” front and 1” rear. And when visiting my moms house, while riding with a passenger, her driveway is very steep with roots valleys etc. My stock exhaust header would scrape on the catalytic converter. I’ve gained like 2” of ground clearance by upgrading to a full system!

Hey everyone! I drove my 2019 ZX6R today for the first time. I installed a DNA air filter, Graves works2 titanium full-system, I deleted my O2 sensor, and had a custom setup loaded on my ECU after a reflash of course.

First of all, the bike is an absolute animal! I could feel the new power immediately. it gets a little hairy at top end RPMS’s and feels sketchy because the bike doesn’t have a steering stabilizer from the factory. The power is really really amazing.

Top of 3rd gear is animalistic lol. Give it a small revvv, let off the gas and she fires off an incendiary round for you!

This Graves full titanium system and flash is just absolutely ridiculous. It’s so comfortable, and power delivery is awesome!
