So I've been searching the net for awhile now an found nothing. Messaged a few stunters through various social networks with no luck. So I figured I'd just try what thesickshop said to do. Disconnect the front wheel sensor. I thought it cant be that simple right? So I finally went ahead an tried it last night an yes that is all you need to do.

The plug is under the airbox in one of the plastic wire cover boot thingys. After u get the airbox off just follow the wire to figure out which one it is. There are 3 boots if I remember correctly under a rubber sheet protector thing..

An on a side note, I've read about the kawis running hot an what not. So yea anyone ever thought that it might be because all the rubber sheet protective covers inside an around the frame? Maybe its restricting airflow through the engine making the radiator an fan do all the cooling? Just a thought.

I am assuming that this is a stunt-only bike?

Removing the front sensor also disables the speedo and odo, no?

If you are looking for a long term solution you can disable the TC in the ECU

The radiator and fan are supposed to do all the cooling. You can move all the air you want past the engine and it's not going to run appreciably cooler. There is very little surface area on the cylinder block and head to transfer heat. You want to direct all the air possible thru the radiator. That is the point of all those panels.

Not to be a smart ass but yes its safe to assume my bike is a stunt bike being that this thread is in the stunting section. :)

Speedo is read off the rear wheel, an is fully functional with just the rear sensor installed. I should of mentioned that in the first post.

Disabling in the ecu? Meaning I would have to reflash? My method works fine with out having to down my bike. An if I ever wanted to enable tc I would just have to plug the sensor back in. Another person told me they ran a switch to the sensor so that route would be even better. On the fly tc on an off but then again the oem switch could handle that task. for my use of this bike I don't need tc ever. Not a track bike.

The oem switch does have an off option. Its just irritating to have to switch it off everytime I start the bike which has to be at a complete stop to toggle to the off postion.

An I really jus made this post for the next guy trinna search the web on how to disable the tc. Cause I couldn't find anything on it when I did my searches.

I have a 2015. On mine at least, just hold down KTRC until it says off. Update* didn't check the date guess you've solved your problem by now lol

Sorry for the old thread revival but there is not much info on this anywhere. I'm having an issue with the TC sensor in the back of my 2015 ZX6R. I installed a dual real caliper and bracket and there's nowhere to mount it. What do I have to do to disable it so the bike doesn't act funny, and will this also affect my speedometer?

Is it an NDC customz bracket? if so it should have a mount for the speed sensor bung.

No it's a HoHey bracket with no bung. I'm actually working with HoHey now though on a solution before I jump ship and go with someone else

Ho Hey makes good parts. I ran their dual cal bracket on my 05 but in my opinion NDC makes a superior bracket for the 13 and up. I'm running a dual cal set up with 08 calipers on my 13'. I have the hardware to run the factory rear caliper on there as well but didn't think it was necessary.

If Ho Hey can't get you taken care of soon I would recommend sending it back for a refund and going with NDC

I have a question about TCS switch.

I read your post and make TCS switch(front TCS line) in my 2014 zx6r.
When i turn off the switch bike is not change TCS off mode on speedometer LCD.
It is still TCS1 and click the tcs mode switch is working well... it's moving TCS2 TCS3 ~~~off..
Is the TCS turned off when it was marked like that?
