Zx6r 1997

Hi there, i am really new here and need some help!!!!
I have a 1997 f3 zx6r which the front end is damaged. The framw is fine. I just need to change the yokes, and forks. I wish help with knowing !!!!
Will a 1999 front end fit?? I know the forks are 46mm thick on the 1999 and mine were 42mm thick. The problem i have is i don't know if the top an botom yokes from a 1999 fit a 1997???
Any suggestions???

had a look at the list Mystery636... but nothing says about a 1997.. it only starts from a 1998

Yeah, sorry about that. Don't know much about the 90's.

I believe the model changed in 98 though, so my guess would be no.

I'll let someone who knows for sure answer though

You can do absolutely anything within reason. I have a 1995 ZZR600E (ZX6E) with ZX10R D6F (2006) forks on it.

You just need a press and a lathe.

I can confirm that all years of the E fork tubes will fit a set of F yokes, but you might need to adjust spacers for wheel to work.
