Hi guys,
as the title says really, stupidly left my bike untouched in the garage for nearly 10 years without draining petrol, it was always, I'll sort next week but never got round to it, and am now ruing at my leisure.
The fuel all turned to brown crud like tea leaves.
It's all stripped now, carbs in bits, and tank mostly washed out, but need to seal the bottom of the tank so I can fill it with fluid to wash it out and hoped somebody would know the thread sizes where the filters screw in.

Cheers guys

Ade

Unlikely someone will know the size tbh.
I would screw the Fuel Tap back in using that as the Bung.
If it starts to leak it's faulty as they have a Vacuum tap fitted...

Thanks, this has an outlet on both sides of the tank though, the fuel tap bolts onto the frame, not the tank itself. It may be easier to take them both into a parts place and see if i can buy a couple of bolts.
Thanks for the reply

Just duck tape it. Not like it’s got to be sealed perfect for ever. Wash it out with 3 parts vinegar and 1 part clr. Then get a good tank coating like POR15 and coat the inside of it really good and you will be good forever.
