WTB 07-08 forks

Check ebay. I just bought a set of 07-08 forks in mint condition for $ 175

Go for 05-06 forks, they have better internals......07-08 forks were cheap n nasty.

I got 09 forks

09 are different diameter, I'd have to swap everything else over as well.

I have a set of 05-06 forks i will be selling as soon as my 08 forks come this week. there are a few pairs on ebay still. I just sent the guy a low ball offer and he accepted it. Worth a shot.

Lol thanks, I'll go do some low balling I don't think 05-06 forks swap right in, I believe you need a lower triple as well.

03-08 all have 50mm upper and 52mm lower forks/triples

Any disadvantage to swapping in the 05-06 forks? Thanks, I really have no clue if they have same internals or whatnot.

Internals are different. Caps are different. They are both Showa forks I believe and 50mm. You can run 05-06 forks on a 07 or 08 zx6r without changing anything. Not sure on any performance differences between the years though.
