Hello all,
just signed up and was wondering is there are any other paddies here?
I see that this is the UK and Scotland thread and was wondeirng if any more of us have snuck in. You know yourself, when they get to Mars, they will be probably there a week when someone opens an Irish bar!

Oh alright then,
I suppose I'll start the colony on my own.
In the pub.

Alright, I knew we'd get a few Paddies in here eventually!
Welcome to the forum.
Where abouts are you from in Dublin?
I am in D15, out beyond Blanch.
I'm a culchie originally, but I think the natives have accepted me :) !

I'm pretty sure that's English your talkin'... :dowhat

You've got funny names - not normal names like we do in Australia.

Nah mate, I am originally from outside of the Big Smoke, and hence a culchie, a muck savage, a bog trotter, a badger worrier or if you will, a ditch dodger from County The Rest of IT!

Took me a while to adapt to city life, you know, wearing shoes and all that. Not to mention, refraining from shooting neighbourhood dogs that I thought were worrying sheep. Endless tribulations, don't you know.

But I feel I have adapted now, integrated, as it were. I hardly ever take a slash on the front lawn on Sunday mornings anymore. The local priest is really pleased.
