No it won't work. The RR had a 1mm larger piston and a shorter stroke. The majority of the parts are the same in the head, but the actual casting is different.
Will a 04 636 head work with a 03/04 rr block?
Im pretty much clueless when it comes to bikes. This is my first bike i bought it with a blown motor. Just purchased a refurbished complete bottom and seen a 04 636 head for sale for a reasonable price. Wanted to know if it will work. I have an 04 rr that im trying to get on the road as soon as possible being the weather is starting to break. Thanks
