Who runs Michelin pp3's? I have a question.

Ok, so im in the market for some new tires, and I am very interested in Michelin PP3's. My question is mainly focused on the front tire. My 07 zx comes factory with a 120/65 front, and a 180/55 rear. Michelin has the same spec rear tire, but not the front. I have to chose from a 120/60, or a 120/70. If you run pp3's, what did you go with? Any info that might help my choice? Thank in advance everyone.

I bought the bike used last year and it had a pretty new michelin pilot road in 120/70 in the front, and a worn out battlax in 190/50 in the rear. Im not too sure about brand of tire but i know the front and rears are from seperate companies. The specs are definetely 190/50 in the rear though. I never had the opportunity to ride on stock spec tires, so I dont know how the bike feels on them. I do know the bike doesnt feel all that great around corners now but could be because of the shot back tire slipping out on me a couple times.

I'll be ordering a set of PP3's Friday, so any help chosing the front tire specs would be great!

No matter what you buy get a 120/70 for the front

ok thanks guys! Looks like 120/70, and 180/55 is gonna be what i'll be buying
Your '07 came with 120/60s? That's weird, both of my '08s came with 120/70s. I have PP3s on one of my ZX6Rs now (120/70-180/55).

You are correct. OEM and recommended tire size from Kawasaki was as follow:

'03-'06 ran 120/65, '07-current run 120/70. Rear tire stayed the same for all those years with 180/55.

Whoever owned that bike before you just put on the wrong tire size
just ordered em :bigthumb: 120/70 and 180/55 for $257
Not too bad. I think they're a good tire. I ordered a set of Q3s a couple days ago, only because they have a $50 rebate going on them right now which brings them down around $200, otherwise I would have gone with another set of PP3s.
