Which colorway to get for a new 2023 ZX6R?

Hi folks! I'm hoping to buy a 2023 ZX6R (will be my 3rd one) as soon as my local dealer can get one in stock. I was wondering what colorway you all prefer. I'm leaning heavily toward the Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/metallic Diablo Black as opposed to the Metallic Matte Twilight Blue/metallic Diablo Black. Just curious to know which colorway many of you like and why.

Well the blue looks 10X better in person than online If that helps. But why would you buy a bike based of strangers opinions of the bike they would want?

If you are truly going to buy one. And your dealer has none in stock. Id imagine you would just wait and see what they get when they get it and decide if the color is good enough to settle for now. Or wait. And then you have krt versus non. You just have to decide. Then be willing to compromise when they get one. Or not.

we have had more people than I can count say there waiting on whatever. Then a different whatever shows up and they say. Well that’s the one I want.

but only you know what you want. And what you’re willing to take versus not take. So what color/model do you want? Who cares what we want.

Good points made. I'm definitely leaning toward the black vs. the blue, but that is just based on photos. I really wish I could see them both in person to help make the final decision. I had a KRT version before and while it was a beautiful colorway, I'm not in the mood this time for the busy, loud green theme of that styling.
Well. When I order my sons 23 we was dead set on the black. But when the blue came after the black we was a little disappointed. I love the orange and the black ones. But I feel like in the future you just sent going to see many of this blue color. And like I said when I seen the lit I was like. Nope. Ugliest color. But then in real life I love it. I was the same with the orange. Hated it. Had a different color in mind and was waiting on it. We had a kid trade in the orange with 500 miles and I feel in love with the color.
My only regret on that one is the kid broke it in very very soft and it’s a turd for power compared to the ones I have been able to do hard break ins on. About 5hp less lol. But it’s my stunt bike so doesn’t matter.

my advice is if you like the blue from just seeing pics at all. You will like it even more when you see it in the store. Idk why but pics doesn’t do it justice.

if I was buying a brand new one tomorrow I’d get the blue non abs and not think twice.

That blue is something to see in person, just saying. But everyone's right, this conversation might be moot.
Other people's opinion about my bike...... =0

The color of my bike? I can't see it when I'm riding it. If it were a lawn ornament, maybe I would care.

Since when does it matter what others think of your bike color choice? Maybe it's just me but color is the last on the list of stuff that matters to me when buying a bike. For all I care could be bright pink if they are giving me a good deal that's hard to pass up on 😂

Idk. I ant real big on color. But I can’t think of a deal good enough for me to ride a bright pink bike. My 03 was purple tho lol.

Thanks for all the comments guys! I'm not looking to let the forum choose the colorway for me by posting this topic, I was just curious to know what all of you liked about each colorway choice. At the end of the day, both look fantastic in my opinion and like Scumbag said, "the blue looks 10X better in person than online." I remember not too long ago I was looking at a used red GSX-R750 and based on the photos I saw in the online ad, I was like 99% sure I was going to buy it. When I went to look at it at the dealer, I was surprised to find that in person the shade of red just didn't do it for me. I'm going to try to see each bike in person before making the final decision. All I can say is no matter what color I end up with, I'm going to be so happy to be back on this bike. I've owned both a GSX-R1000 and ZX-10R and just could never really enjoy the powerband of either of those bikes on the street. The ZX-6R for me is the best of both worlds, performance and usability, not to mention the superb handling.

I got black in my 2022. I was originally looking at the blue, but seeing it in person changed my mind.
Most of the plastic is a matte blue color, but the tank is gloss black. It looks so out of place and doesn't work with the rest of the color. It makes it look like it was wrecked and someone slapped a random tank from another bike onto it. My opinion

And this is exactly why you can’t base. YOUR bike of others opinions. Every scheme ever made there will be someone who absolutely loves it. And someone who absolutely hates it. Every human sees colors differently.

like we all know apples are what me call red and oranges are what we call orange. But how do we know what you see when you call Apple red is what everyone else sees pointing at the same thing and calling it red? We could all see completely different things and just calling it the same lol. I watched a documentary on it and it kind of trips you out if you really think on it.
Well folks, I have been calling around to dealers both near and far from me and nobody has any 2023 models left in stock. I forgot about one dealer that is 20 minutes from me and decided to call them expecting them to tell me I'm out of luck, but lo and behold they said they just took their last one, which happens to be in black, out of the warehouse and are putting it on the showroom floor tomorrow. I told the salesperson to hold it until I can swing by tomorrow morning to see it in person and he said he would. So, tomorrow morning I will get a chance to at least see the black in person. If I like it, then I'll be putting a deposit down for them to hold it.

I had seen the blue while I was looking at getting mine. Not a huge fan really. Looked nice, but not what I wanted. I never saw the black version. I ended up with the KRT, which is what I set out for.

I had the 2021 KRT edition and thought it really popped. What mods have you done so far or are planning to do?
Nothing too crazy for now. Fender eliminator, solo seat cowl, new windscreen, etc...

Well, the deed is done. I picked up this 2023 ZX6R this afternoon. She is way too quiet for my liking. Waiting for an M4 Street Slayer slip-on to arrive to spice things up. ;)

BTW, one thing I noticed that seemed a little odd is that when I sit straight up (hands off the bars) and coast to slow down, the bike keeps drifting to the right. If I want to keep it straight, I have to position my left butt cheek off the seat. I don't remember this happening with my 2021 ZX6R. I found a post on a stunt forum that said, "if your bike pulls to the right, tighten your right swing arm adjustment bolt a quarter turn at a time." Any thoughts from you guys on this? Could this be because the dealer did not prep the bike correctly?

Very well could be the chain alignment
.run the shit out of it the first 50-75 miles then dump that oil. Change with conventional then run that to 500 and change to full Syn then do regular changes after that. When you do the exhaust send the ecu to be tuned and flashed. It will feel like a different bikes
