Thank you bro for the reply! I checked with a local mechanic and it is 36mm indeed.Triple-clamp Crown Nut. Looks like 36mm, but I don't own a '19, so don't take that as fact. It doesn't have a lot of torque on it, a large adjustable should work if you can't find a socket, but be careful with an adjustable, use a rag between the tool and the nut and be sure the adjustable is tight.
When I say 'adjustable', I mean 'Crescent' with the thumbwheel to open/widen or tighten/close. NOT 'channel locks' or 'Vice-Grips'.
Lol 👍. You mean you never call a big ass nut a screw? 🤣😂. That cracked me up tho. Least ya dint tell him how pointless it is to even have a dampener anyways.A)..... that is the steering head nut
B)..... it is not, nor does it have anything to do with the fucking handlebars............
C)...... use a 6 point 36mm socket and no marring occurs...........
D)...... I hope this response atleast satisfies a few..............none too assholish, but a little assholish-- a soft version...forgive me I am just coming back from a month away......
That’s what matters. Most guys don’t even try these days.
