I've got an 06 636 and it seems to get a lot worse mileage than my old 99 r6. I get about 35-40 just cruising and then it dips to around 25 when I'm on it. Does that sound about normal for you guys?
80 per tank or less at the track and 110 before the light comes on in the hills/canyons. I don't really commute or putt around town on the 636 so I have no idea what mpg would be on the freeway.
I get pretty crappy gas mileage.... light comes on anywhere between 90 and 100 miles when I'm commuting. And if I'm traveling I get an extra 20, but track mileage is usually around... oh I dunno 70? :O
yeah, my normal every day riding the light will come on around 110 and on the track it'll come on around 65 or so. I ride mine like I stole it though, the only time it's ever been ridden easy was during the break in period.
I normally get about 45-50 mpg, but at the Isle of man it dropped to 38 mpg, my old GSR (2006 model) never got above 40 mpg, proof that fuel injection & a catalytic convertor is less efficient and raping the planet.
when my 05 636 was standard i used to get about 150miles per tank riding like a twat, not the bikes tuned i get 120mile b4 the light comes on but the extra bhp is worth the loss in mpg
I wanna say my light will start blinking around 140-150 miles.. I dunno, its been awhile since I have rode.....ill check it next time I take it for a ride..
I have a 05 636, i am only getting about 22mpg! my gas light comes on right around 90mpg. i have installed new spark plugs, new k&n air filter and a power commander. Before i installed anything i was getting the same mpg. I do have an aftermarket slip on akrapovik exhaust on the bike. But it just doesn't make sense that i am getting such shitty mpg. Any ideas?
