Right on that one didnt but a lot of similar ones have american flags in the picture leading you to beleive they are made in the US guess you just helped me prove they are not.

I was kind of interested since it claims better cooling and if made from aluminium should be lighter than OEM?
Yea I have seen the “made In America” lie a few times lol. I can’t say 100% tho because that’s not who i ordered from. And the one I ordered dint specify I’m just assuming being amazing and 1/3 the price

OEM is aluminum. I had mine in my hand yesterday installing a protective screen.
Yea. I never seen a radiator on a motorcycle that wasn’t aluminum that I can think of.
My new one isn’t lighter. But it is a tad bigger as far as fins and width. Maybe it’s even heavier I can’t tell by just holding so it’s not noticeable. I will take a little weight in trade for better cooling beings it’s a stunt bike

Man, it's just a thing I never even tried. I've got a little Yamaha TTR-125LE I kinda do some tricks with (when I'm drunk on Saturday at a two-day trackday weekend), but my big bikes I try hard to leave both wheels in contact with the ground. I blame my '04 ZX-10R: That bike was exciting to ride, in the sense that it was always trying to have one wheel or the other in the air on the gas or brakes. Always. Kinda left a scar :)

Lol. I get it. I rode professional moto and then rode freestyle. I did the huck bam boom boom tour. Pre nitro circus and then I had a huge accident that halted all that and street stunt riding just seemed like something I could easily transition to and seemed to be safer so I started doing that. Just sort of fell in love with it. I love going to the lot in the middle of the night when the world is asleep and just ride. It’s good therapy. Just me and the bike. . It’s funny tho cause it still seems kind of goofy to me. All dancing around and doing circles in a parking lot and calling your self a “stunt rider” lol. Idk just seems comical. I can totally get how guys clown on it. But It truly is surprisingly harder than it looks. But once you get that balance 12 o’clock nailed everything else is just playing off that. And I could always do that on dirt bikes so it was easy to transition . It was always cool just scrapping the fender in the moto pits and showing off like a dweeb. Chicks dig it 😎. 🤣

I didnt know they were all aluminium but kind of makes sense since it doesnt hold heat. A steel one might not work as well since it retains heat like a mofo and its right in the name radiator radiates heat.

I feel smarter now thanks guys😋

Ahh don’t feel bad. I have literally been around motorcycles everyday my whole life and learned on here yesterday that each sprocket tooth adds one link to the chain. No fkn clue how that never dawned on me not one time. 🤦‍♂️

Looks good. Yea that shiny link pipe throws it off. You could do like a black exhaust wrap maybe if you dint want to cost it. What kind of can is it? Love the look.
Cheers Scumbag. Ive found a black ceramic spray same kinda colour as the ceramic can so i am gonna try spray it. Little bit of prep work but hopefully will look sweet? 🤞🏻🙏🏻.
Ive got the carbon M4 one advertised on Gumtree in the UK for sale so will see if get any interest? 🤞🏻🙏🏻.
Whats new with you?

Cool deal. Yea a good high temp paint will look good and last for a good long time. I have painted a few mid pipes. The headers will usually burn off any high temp paint so ceramic is the way to go. But mid pipe back and your good. Curious of the sound. Looks good all black like that and seems to be a good middle ground from a stubby and full can

Crikey, id say. That looks a close one. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤣. I just have the Guy Anthonys mobile number. Ill check for a website and try get it attached so you can have a look buddy. Yeah, the size and length is pretty much ideal. Just sits bang on almost with the line of swingarm.
Hoping to get the paint tomorrow but doing some plasterboarding at my inlaws house so could be a project for Thursday. Prepping and painting. 🤞🏻🙏🏻

ill keep use posted though. Stay safe and talk soon

Just ordered another rear seat for the bike; plan is to strip the seat cover/foam to mock up for a fiberglass seat cowl. After I make that, I plan to add a little foam padding to it so im not sliding so far back in the seat when i eventually start track days (wife says we can go for our first one this summer, yay).

You basically want to replace the back seat for a trackday with a fiberglass cowl?

Could I recommend this instead: buy a replacement undertail/battery tray. With a jigsaw cut off the 'carbon fiber look' parts, leaving the battery tray and ecu mount, reinstall. Use an ArmorBodies or similar Superstock Race tail - exactly what you want (you have to trim the sides off the undertail to get the fiberglass tail to fit), and you can then mount a foam block backrest.

You'd then switch between the setups (yes, moving the battery tray, battery, ECU, and starter solenoid before/after trackdays).

Here's what I mean:
Automotive tire Motor vehicle Automotive exterior Automotive design Fender
Motor vehicle Automotive tire Automotive design Hood Automotive exterior
Bicycle tire Automotive tire Bicycle fork Rim Bumper
Tire Wheel Automotive tire Hood Automotive lighting
Tire Wheel Vehicle Automotive lighting Automotive tire

I didn't bolt the race tail on for the photo so it's kinda dipping down under the seat, but you get the idea.
