Black always works.

 

This. VHT high temp satin black engine enamel is what I'd use. Great stuff, better than Duplicolor. Auto Zone carries it for $7/can.

do NOT use anything from a rattle can if you want it to last. Powder coat, urethane or epoxy. Alternatively, you could just polish the frame and rock it raw polished aluminum (not too bad looking) just don't get it wet

 

I used Eastwood's chassis black on my frame from a rattle can. 6 years later it is still perfect. That stuff is indestructible

 

Rattle can would last fine if done right.

 

It could, but if you're gonna spend that much on rattle can paint itd be more than cost effective to just spray it with polyurethane.



Strip it, epoxy primer/sealer it, spray it with polyurethane and call it a day.



If OP was close enough I'd spray it for them.





Honestly, I'd just get it powdercoated. Local shop charges $250 out the door including sandblasting and all the little extras.

 

Get a different paint scheme. shits boring.

Are you sure that's a 13 or 14?

The engines on those are silver and (it looks like) the rotors don't have the notching for the TC / ABS. It has other components for a 13+, so maybe some fool painted the motor.

With the scheme you have I'd recommend yellow or red! Agreed most people don't understand coverage and flash time there for the rattle can dosnt wrk but if used right could yield great results.

 

Personally I'd mix my own!
