I figured that because they don’t make them that thick there’s a reason I have that kinda clearance issues. The intake valves on the same cylinder are bent as well but not to this extent The guy I bought the engine from said it had a timing chain issue. I did check the piston height just to make sure there isn’t a bent rod that part checked out glad I didn’t put this in and try to run it

When I was about 13-14 I had a Yamaha DT100 street and trail bike. I should have got an mx bike but that’s another story. Anyway I worked on my bike with no real input from any adults and no one else in family was into bikes or working on mechanical things. One day from wheel seemed loose so I tightened the axle. Then it was loose again so I added a washer to the spacer. This cycle continued until I finally asked why do I have like 3 washers between the spacer and fork leg. Worn wheel bearings an older trail rider said. Long story short if something doesn’t seem right it probably isn’t.
