I have just brought some 014's, (tyre size 180/55 r17 and 120/65 r17)
the book says 36 42 psi, I have been told different tyre need different pressure can you help or should I go by the book.:confused

:thumbup How much do you weigh?. Are you going to load the bike to maximum load capacity? That's what those weights are for, I weigh about 210lbs and run my tires at 36/38 which seams to be a good compromise between traction and mileage.

Don't stray too far from reccomended pressures for road use. I only drop about 2-3 psi MAX for normal use and another 2-3 for track use.

i actually run teh 36/42 and have had zero problems with my "agressive street" riding, and have also gotten some good tire life to. For the track 30/32 ->28/30 depending on the day.

different strokes for different folks though :O

I run 36/42 on both the 014's and on the pilot powers (I have heard that your suppose to run lower pressures on the powers, But I have had best of luck so far with 36/42) that is one up, and two up same pressure..
