Figured I would put up the days I have planned out so far.
I ride with EvolveGT on the east coast, hit me up if you're going to be at any of the dates!

VIR North Course - 5/20
Pitt Race - 6/1 and/or 6/2
NJMP T-Bolt 6/16
NCBike - 7/07
NYST - 7/28

That is as far out as I have planned, will update as the season goes on!

I'll be surprised if I even have everything back on the bike first week of April lol

Let me know if you're gonna be out that way for Pitt, I'm thinking I'll be there both days at this point.
Based on the two laps I got in there last year, before I got rear ended, I'm pretty excited to go back.

Bro there's like 7 weeks left until first NCbike event in April. Why would it take you that long to get your bike ready? Start now!! lol

Because it's still cold as fuck out and I'm a bitch! My plan was to get a little heater for the garage, but that did not happen this year lol I have zero motivation to go out and work on anything when it is cold

Did you do NCbike last year?

That's all you had to say lol

I hear you about the garage heater though. When I was living in Nebraska it was always cold during the winter so I had a little propane heater in there which worked pretty well for when I had to work on the bike. Get one, they're not very expensive.

Yeah I went to NCbike twice last year, once in each direction, on different bikes. So I can't say I have much experience around there, even though it's the closest track for me.

Hell ya man, let me know. I'll probably also try for the August 18th date up there, haven't made my mind up on that one yet.

What did you think of it? Most people I've talked to say they like that track a lot, but when I'm looking at videos or track layout it doesn't look that amazing. I planned to do it in July just to try it out and see how I like it, or not.

The layout is not that amazing, it's flat, and the paddock is definitely below average. But the track is great for training/practice. It has some pretty unique long turns, the tarmac is great and grippy and it is very wide. It's a good track to get you more comfortable being at full lean for longer periods of time (I timed myself in T5, and it was about 17 seconds at full lean...it's crazy long!) and also to get you more comfortable taking different lines, because it's so wide that you can take a whole bunch of different lines through the turns when you have to pass people.

It's unfortunate they don't do any races there besides the MotoGladiator ones with Evolve. I like the track overall and it's close to me, but most people are right that the layout is nothing amazing. Certainly not as fun as NJMP or VIR, or PittRace from what I hear (never been there).

@gustavberg NCBike is an awesome track, the only thing Id like to see is some candy cane curbing to help identify turns. The straight you can get stupid fast ther especially going CCW. They use “seashells” and shave off the asphalt supposedly so tires get destroyed, but at the same time like sbk1198 said, yiu have grip for days.

Tire wear is not that bad. Certainly nowhere near as easy on tires as Summit Point after the repave, but not bad. I'd say it's average...similar to NJMP. Try riding at CMP. That track really shreds tires like a cheese grater! lol

Since everyone under the sun seems to be asking these are all TD's that I'm available/interested in, but most likely can only afford about 60% of them. If I did all of them I'd be paying alimony vice Trackdays kids.

Boooo! Come to NCbike in April! :D

Why no PittRace? Isn't that the closest track to you, or are you on the other side of PA?

If you go to NJMP, you should try out Lightning as well one of those times. Even though Thunderbolt is an amazing track, I think Lightning is really fun as well, and worth doing. Maybe not worth $220...but still loads of fun.

Pitt Race is 4 hours away and similarly to NJMP I have to pay an Asston of tolls for hauling a trailer and SUV on the PA turnpike.

NJMP is only 2.5hrs away though but still.

I'll come to NC Bike if you have a glamper where I can put my air mattress.

What's a glamper? lol To be honest I've never stayed the night there. Being an hour and 45 minutes away I just drive out there early in the morning then come back in the evening. Not sure if I'll do the same now or not. I'll play it by year based on weather.

I feel ya on the tolls though. When I go to NJMP it costs me about $70 in tolls for the whole trip. Sucks! I have to cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel which is $28 each way with a 2-axle trailer. Only other option is to go way round through DC, which would add almost 2 hours and a hell of a lot more traffic so higher chance of being even more than that.

Daytona only has 2 options, in March during the Daytona 200 weekend, or in October at the Race of Champions. Not really track days though, they're both race weekends. Friday, Team Hammer does a track day/race practice but it's expensive and you don't get all that much run time. I think it's like 5 sessions and it's $325. Not worth it in my opinion unless you're racing and want some extra track time before.

Good to know. I want to hit them all as some sort of weird bucket list. I'm looking to get my license this spring.

What bike are you taking to Pineview? I was kinda interested in checking it out, but the total track is only like 1.1 miles long
