Track cherry being popped next weekend, finally!

After close to a year of discussing going, next weekend it's finally going to happen. Jennings is going to be the cherry popper for me. I've been at work unable to concentrate because I've been so excited about this trip. As of now the weather is going to be beautiful, but we all know how Florida is (especially we natives). I have a lot of friends who ride it regularly who have given me lots of advice about how to go about it and they as well as I feel like I'll excel. I'll be going with two of my close friends (one who raced CCS for a few years before his daughter was born) and another friend who is going to be new to it too, as well as our significant others. I acquired my friends old hotbodies fairings from him, so my bike's looking dapper in those currently. I've also thrown on a fresh set of Q3's. Took it for a little ride earlier and got them nice and scrubbed in. Will post pictures along the way!

No cops, no speed limit, no cages. Joe= Happy.

you'll love it. and i took a brand new set of Q3 tires to the track my very first time out and was so scared since I hadn't scrubbed them in. Well after about 2 laps they were good to go.

Work on body position and lines more than anything else. even if your getting passed left and right, have good lines and bp and you'll soon be passing everyone else
Nice! Jgp is a fun track, just ride your ride bud, it can be easy to play pick a victim or try to keep up with a coach, just don't push it, and don't ride for the cameras. Drink lots of fluids and enjoy bud!

I popped my cherry at Jennings in September. Loved that track. Id have to say my favorite turn is turn 8 there, even though I wrecked in it on my second trip there.

I also had brand new set of Q3s for my first day that were not scrubbed in. After the first 2 follow the leader laps that they make your do(very helpful for lines) the tires were good to go and I did not look back the rest of the day.
build up a savings account just for this man, once the addiction hits, its going to be a expensive journey. have fun out there...

There used to be a speed limit sign there of 180.
