Took the plunge!

Well, I have always wanted one, and now I have one. Two days ago I picked up a 2014 ZX10R. It's awesome and will be my street bike. The ZX6R I have is being slowly rebuilt after a wreck to become a dedicated track bike. I'm over the moon now because I have always (like, since I first saw a motorcycle) wanted to own a liter and now I have one and can focus on the 6 being the track warrior it wants, no NEEDS, to be!

Also, yes, I know: "pics or it didn't happen" :)

Congratulations brother. 2014 is my favourite colour scheme for the ZX10.. Any planned mods?
I am so jealous, congratz on the buy
Love it. :2fingerlol:
Wish they would do away with the bronze engine and clutch covers though. I just pulled mine off of my 10r and did them black with engine enamel. They look so much better black :yumyum:

Congrats on the purchase....love that bike!
Congratulations man.thats a sexy bike. I can't wait to get anotherbike and turn my 6 into a track wwhere.
Thanks everybody :) She rides like a dream but she's certainly not a replacement for a 6R. Nothing is going to beat the nimbleness of my beloved 6, it's just nice to be able to add a 10 to the stable!

Honestly, I think this bike is going to stay close to stock (famous last words, I know!) because it's going to be for street for the foreseeable future. The stock exhaust is loud enough and the butterflies give the bike an extremely smooth response (something you tend to lose when going full exhaust). I might send the ECU to get re-flashed just to unlock it's full power potential. Believe it or not, there are about 20hp untapped coming from the factory so that would be nice. Obviously going to get rid of the mudflap, cause ugh.

I'm pumped to ride after work today.
