It would probably help to support the engine that way there isn't that much pressure on the bolt n would keep the hole lined up also but again I'm not completely sure since I haven't installed sliders yet.

fwiw, I just installed (minutes ago) T-Rex Sliders on my Street Triple R, and simply had the bike up on my pitbull stand. Those are AWESOME sliders, very confidence-inspiring.

had t-rex sliders on my 300 too. great sliders. I think they're better than oes, shogun, yoshi among other brands.

Just did one at time. There didn't see to be any weight on the engine because the holes kept lined up. The only thing is that their instructions are wrong. The long bolt goes on the right side.
I have t-rex sliders on my 2010 zx6r and just like he said^ the instructions are backwards as far as bolt lengths go. That aside I never supported engine and just did one side at a time with no issues.
