What brand are you running?

I was thinking of the Woodcraft style spools (bobbins) in black, but the style for the 10mm bolt (for the ZX6R) is different from the style for the 8mm bolt (which I like). In fact, the Kneedraggers.com website states that the 10mm spools have a special step so that it can fit on the ZX6R. Is this true?

not sure if its the same on the 6 but i know on my zx9 the spools had to be offset slightly on one side, that would explain the 'step' their talking about

I'm using Steel Horse Fabrications 10mm rear spools. And it's true; they have a spacer to accomodate the offset. They're the big, beefy nylon style. I like them because they'll act more like a slider. Here's the best photo I have right now.

If you like the low profile, aluminum style then consider Vortex:

Or, if you don't like the "cone" shape and want more of the "yo-yo" shape then consider Pit Bull:

Happy hunting.
