Such a hard choice.

Gloss black.

i never been a fan of that whole matte (flat) black trend

I think satin black would look best if the top half was white. But if I had to choose. Matte. Gloss black just does not appeal to me.

You forgot to include the "man up and make a decision for yourself" option.

If you're painting the bike White...I would stick with Satin or Matte black on the bottom fairings and wheels...will give it a great look...if you need proof just look at the 13/14 636 color scheme.

Now if you were painting the whole bike black I would say "Gloss" because I was never a fan of "Matte" colors on bikes/cars

Whichever you chose please post pics/details or your process/project

I will definitely post pics from before and after with a few in the middle. I know ultimately its my choice, I'm just still brainstorming. I just need to make a decision today.

I went gloss black on my lowers...I'll say this. They're matte from factory for a reason.

Not usually this blunt but I agree with 40. I can understand asking for opinions on which bike might be better (performance, ergos, etc) but color of the bike? Get the one you want and who cares what we or anyone else thinks is "prettiest". You're the one sitting on it, looking at it and riding it. Go with what you think is best.

I am just looking for opinions. I know its my decision. I am adult enough to understand the choices I make in life, just wanted to know what everyone thought.

I personally like the glossy more than the flat black. I have glossy black rims. My brother has flat black on his bike and is a wanting to make his a glossy black. There's two opinions for you.

I would have to agree with zak and zx6, Satin would be my pick as well...but since its between gloss and flat...i'd go with the flat, especially if the white will be glossed. But at the end of all this...just do what YOU like and what YOU think is the best looking b/c you're def not going to please everyone here lol

Go Satin, it's right in the middle of the two.

there is a hidden benefit to this third option, you won't end up with an almost guaranteed 50/50 split between the glossy/matte choice. :O

I haven't checked the poll, plus I already made my decision, I'm going all red... Jk, but for real, I just wanted to hear other people opinions on the topic.
