Hey tech ppl, If I want to stream my GoPro video live from my camera over a track's wifi, then what would I need? Some type of signal booster? Is this even possible? I want to have live video of my races in the pits for my wife, family and crew. Ideas please.

i doubt that idea would work due to the distance of the wifi range and elevation changes, but have you thought about action camera drone following you around the track, maybe that might offer some better ways of viewing for your family. I'm not sure about it but it might be helpful.

Drone sounds good, but maybe hiring a helicopter is the way to go.

Wonder though, I think at the Daytona sx they were streaming over wifi.

Theyvwerent using GoPro's to stream that. I think you are referring to the rider can that Anderson was wearing. That was definitely not a Go Pro.

I'm not that familiar with a drone, is that safe? Legal? I've seen motogp and ama stream live video, I was just trying to figure out how.

Yeah you won't be able to do it with a go pro to my knowledge. The signal strength just isn't there. I know I can stream from my go pro to my phone but after I wonder about 15 feet away it starts to lose the signal
