Hey guys I got a 2016 ZX6R with about 1900 miles on but ive been having this weird issue lately. If I am sitting still and rev it slightly to like 2-4k when the bike comes back down it immediately stalls out. It did this a few times when it was completely but i didn't think anything of it. Only aftermarket parts I have are fender eliminator, M4 GP slip on, and the servo buddy. Thanks in advance for your help.

What is your idle set at? Should be at 1600. Raise it up if its low.

An 2016 most likely under warranty.. Let the shop figure it out, time and parts on them.

Yeah very true ill swing by this week.

Yeah, the idle can drop too low with an after-market exhaust so needs raising. Also I think there was a recall for ECUs that caused stalling but from memory that was only MY2013.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but I’m having this same issue.... 2015 ZX6R - at stoplights it’ll stall when I’m revving a bit. I just had my spark plugs done, so I doubt it’s that issue.

Yeah bump it up to 1600 with the engine warm.
