Sport Rider magazine ran a series of test on the 07 middleweight bikes, thought you guys might be interested in some of the info ... [keep in mind they had graphs in the magazine which I can't post yet but might scan later] ...

Honda CBR600RR: 412 lbs (187 kg) wet; 383 lbs (174 kg) dry
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: 443 lbs (201 kg) wet; 416 lbs (189 kg) dry

Great post!

The CBR did well, but still there's nothing in it, they're all so close.

wow, those are the lowest ratings i've seen yet for the 07 zx6r. it's amazing how different mags come out with different results. i think this is also the first i've seen the cbr at the top of the list

The 07 6R has been a disappointment to me:O

Kawi is missing the 636 for sure!

It's like Steve said though, they are all very close. Don't get the impression that the Ninja is a bad bike from this.

And probably even more important on the track, the rider makes all the difference in the world.

from all the bikes i've owned, (most being yamaha) the 07 zx6r is by FAR my favorite bike. it could use a bit more lowend, but a sprocket should fix that for me. other then that i have nothing but good things to say about the bike.

Wow.. bike to bike comparison.. the Kawi looks like a TURD.. good thing its all in the rider..The bike sure did put on some dry weight eh?
