Secondary injectors not firing?

Bike: 05 zx6

Issue: Won't rev past 10k rpm

Solutions Tried: New Ecu new throttle body and sensors new fuel pump x2 new rectifier(burnt up connector on harness and caused overheating issues), new spark plugs

Why I think its the secondaries not firing: I unplugged them at took the bike for a ride and it rode like it did when plugged in.

Question: what would cause the secondary injectors to not fire?manual says replace ecu and I've don't that twice already.

Every thread that I've searched that had the same issue fixed there problems with the same fixes I've already tried.

Where are you getting your ECUs? And are either of them from an '06? Highly unlikely you've gotten 2 bunk ECUs in a row but it's possible.
The first ecu I bought didn't fix the issue so I sold it to a local because his wasn't working. The second I purchased about a week ago because I thought it was blown(main 30 amp fuse was removed over 6 months ago and forgot lol
It might be that the fuel supply isn't available -- the secondaries could be firing, but 'dry'. I know you have replaced the fuel pump, and the ECU -- do you have a piggyback fuel management gizmo? PC III,or PC V, or BAZAZZ?

Unplug it if you do, and see if it changes the behavior.
I don't have any piggy back. Bike is all stock except exhaust and filter

By filter you mean air filter, right?

On an 05, isn't there a cross over vacuum line under the air box that balances the pressures? Don't most people install a block off plate or fiddle those lines to get everything to work properly?

Me, I'd start checking that area out. If it suddenly changed and it hasn't broken entirely, it's likely something fairly simple. And in this case somewhat diffcult to get at.

Let us know what you find out.
You have any how to's on that crossover stuff?
Search the site for info on block off plates, and '05.... that should get you to pics and diagrams of what it should be set up like. My '09 is not the same layout, and has not been modified as far as I know.

Seems like the issue you are having is fairly common on those models, with the mod.

The thing is I don't have the mod. Should I do it?
Sounds like secondary fuel injectors aint working. Just get a new one and try it out. Theyre super cheap anyway: Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectibles, Coupons and More | eBay

Or maybe test the connections first to see if theyre getting the correct signal. Service manual should tell u how.
Already bought a set $8 shipped love eBay. Came in today will check tomorrow
