What do u mean running lights??

 

turn signal lights, like in your car. When your lights are on, they are dim, and they brighten when you use your turn signal. My friends R6's were working.

When I'm not using my turn signals, the only lights on at night are my headlight and my license plate light.

 

I have a service light that is on when I insert the keys and turn. When I hit ignition my low beam comes on full. Thats it.

 

acidrain are you sure that this isnt just normal. in the uk running lights are just your headlights and your indicators come on only when you use them. in the US i know what you mean because you dont really have indicators, you have a set of tail-lights that seem to do a dual function and flash when u use your indicators.... other Americans can you confirm this??

 

My 04 has never had "running lights". They blink when I use the signal button and that is it. The tail light is just that, a tail light that serves as a brake light also. Sounds like you have a short somewhere. Even if by chance you have a european model the only "running lights" are in the outermost corners of your headlights.
