Rear Wheel Compatibility

Looking for an extra rear wheel for my 2013 ZX6R race bike, figure it will be much more convenient swapping tires mid-race day this way. Question is are the 09+ wheels the exact same thing? Do I need to fudge around with spacers or anything like that or is it a straight swap? I'd run different sprocket, but rotors/spacers all the same?

Thanks!

Yes, they're all identical parts.

The only thing you'll need to make sure to do is put the sensor ring on the sprocket.
can you show me a picture of this sensor ring? did not know about this...

I was thinking of buying this guy Kawasaki zx6r 636 Ninja Limited 2013 12 11 10 Rear Rim Wheel Straight | eBay but it seemed steep, no rotor or sprocket on that.

where would I get a sensor ring as well?

Did anyone figure this out? I am looking to buy a set of 09-12 wheels for my 2014 636 to put slicks on them.

What extra stuff would I need to fit the 09-12 front and rear wheels to the 13-15 636?
nothing, just the spacers from your 13-15. the 05- current model is the same wheel front and rear except for the step height on the 13-15 for the speed tone rings. the tone rings mount on the older wheels just fine. Ski

Thanks Ski. I forgot to mention that I have the ABS model. Does that make any difference at all?
The front rotors are different on the 13+ than the 05-12s.

You're saying the rotors on the 13+ are the same as 05-12?
he asked if it made a difference abs or not (he asked about rear wheel only, so the rotor will be the same). the wheels will work abs or not... 05-15, front and rear. you may need spacers or rotors, speed rings ect... for the correct year you are putting the wheels on for the front. Ski
