So, since i didnt get a chance to blow my money away this weekend in nyc... It got me thinking.. I might paint the bottom fairings for my bike.

Gonna take it apart, buy the paint and send it to a body shop to paint it.

what do u guys think? Is that gonna be enough to win the BOTM award?:rotfl

I've thought about doing that very thing but since my fairings are one piece, I was'nt sure how it would look. Even thought about getting an Attack Kawasaki paint scheme. Hey! make your ride your own, make it unique,it's all good. There, there's my two cents:thumbup

If you are not sure if that is what you want to do, then get you a good high performance vinyl and "wrap" it.
It takes the worry out of the paint job being permanent.
Im about to wrap the lower part of mine to see if it's the way I want to go or not
Ive been making vinyl decals for a while now and know some folks that do wraps on cars and trucks.
That said, even they suggest a good "cast" vinyl.
What Ive ordered for my bike is Oracal 751.
Its 2 mils thick and with a good blow dryer it will wrap well.
Here is the page for SIGNWAREHOUSE.COM that I order from.
(it is a pdf page)

I've been playing around with a b/w pic to kinda see what I want to do.(I have NO photoshop skills)
To divide the Blue and the Black, Im thinking about a 1/2gray, 1/2white stripe.

Im not trying to jack your thread Bro, promise. I just want to show you what is possible.:devious
Good luck!
You can do it!
