Hello,

I have an 06' 636. I've been looking for ohlin dampers for it and I'm finding all 09-12 ones. Will the 09-12 zx6r online damper fit my 06' with the correct bracket for for it?

Worth noting that the OEM -09-12 Ohlins unit is nearly useless in stock form. The OEM unit provided to Kawasaki by Ohlins is a very weak damping unit. It can be modified to much more typical values, in the process of rebuilding it.

Mine is still on the bike, although it does essentially nothing.... the bike came with it, so it's going to be seen as a loss if it isn't there if I ever sell the thing so I keep it. I don't stunt the bike, so the front stays on the ground. Not much need for it in my use.

I would probably ask Ohlins directly if they sell brackets to mount the model damper used on the '09, for your '06. You may be able to track down part numbers that way, whether you purchase the brackets from them or not.
