First Off , Hey Everyone

Been off a bike for a few years since kids started sprouting up haha, , last ride was an R6.

Looking to get back on it, so looking a ZX6-R

...Controversial choice by what I read so far haha,
I like the 07-08? with underslung exhaust, the headlights are too goofy on the 09's and still a bit dodge on the 07, I really like the lights on the 05 model and underslung . is that 636 not a 600?

Bit subjective but which is better 05 or 07 i.e reliability, common problems etc.. not too fussed about minor perf differences?

Can't say for sure about those years. I has s 2012 CBR600RR and then a 2014 ZX6R 636 ABS. The ZX6R was much easier to take off and generally ride in traffic. Not a lot of difference in displacement but the extra 36 or so ccs made a real difference. Generally rode the CBR at higher revs and didn't wind the ZX6R out as much. I also like the ergonomics of the ZX6R better than the CBR - the 09 and later ones are all similar but thing the earlier years were different which probably means they were more comfortable.

05/06 just like 03/04 came in both variants......a 599cc and a 636cc
