Hello, first post here. Was hoping it wouldn't be this way but it is. I'm looking for a left turn signal part for my 07 ZX6R.

Long story short, dumped the bike the 3rd day I got it on some sand taking a left. First bike, first weekend riding, I know I'm dumb, bash me later. I'll be taking the course next month to get my license and to learn how ride

Here's what I'm looking for:

Not looking to spend that right now. The bike was totaled so I had some others parts I had to buy. The total is a long story. I got the bike for basically $148.70. (1 month payment)

No idea where I can find just that part? I don't really mind how it looks.

Alright heres the story. This happend May 11.

Decided I wanted a bike but decided I didnt want to fork over cash to someone on craigslist. Just didnt want to, spend the money all at once basically. Got approved for a loan (Im 21) for the cost of the bike which was $5500 give or take $100.

The loan was a little more after dealer fees and stuff so it was around $5900ish. Had a friend ride it to a parking lot as I had never rode before. Practiced there for a while then found some long side road in an industrial park, rode up and down that for a while as well. Had no problems, didnt exceed 30 though.

Next day took it across the street to a development and did laps in and out of there. Next day went to the same place but this time there was a car at the stop sign as I was turning left into the development. So being a new rider turning was still a little scary so what I think happened is I panicked, I took the turn way to wide and caught grass and went over or the sand took me over. I live in NH so the sand from winter was still bad.

Dumped the bike on the left side while hitting my head. Helmet got scraped up but didnt crack or anything. I remember everything and got right back up, so didnt go to the doctors, May have been out of it for a day or 2. Scraped my knee and hand a little, as I had gloves pants, and sweatshirt on. Rode back home, less than a min away.

Put the claim in hoping they would total it becuase at the point I was done. Wanted nothing to do with it. They came looked at it an totaled it. No real damage. Broken mirror, scratched fairings nothing really cracked on them, there is a small scrape on the side of the pass seat as well as a crack in that fairing up by the seat, broken foot shifter, broken turn signal, dent in the gas tank about the size of a half dollar, and a very small dent I guess in the frame I believe it is. (The black metal piece)

They valued the bike at 7k, minus my 1k deductible so it would pay off the loan. The salvaged amount was $950 so I said for that I'd just keep it, I could easily flip it for a couple k. So thats what I did, kept it. Called the bank yesterday because my loan statement was funky. They said "the loan is paid off in full." They dont chase people for the salvaged amount and just write it off as a loss. Title is going to my insurance company who I guess will issue me a salvaged one.

Made 1 payment of $148.70. They also gave my a check for what I paid for my helmet of $150, got most the parts I need including a new helmet for $215. (foot shifter, bar ends, sliders!, mirrors, helmet) the rest is just cosmetic that Ill get to one day.

Just so you know, those are not OEM turn signals. That's an aftermarket turn signal. And it already has a fender eliminator kit on it. Probably came with the aftermarket muffler. Find some other universal turn signals you like and replace both if you can't find an exact match. It's only $20 or so.
