I have a 2002 zx6r 636

Started clicking on the left side of the bike


I have full service history, the bike has only done 13k

Is it the cct or is it the valves

From your post its hard to say but the cct is on the right side of the Engine.
Does it make the clicking stationary or when you ride it ?

Yep what Kev said. Internal noises can be a little misleading on where they’re coming from. A stethoscope or even a stick or pipe. Hold to your ear and stick places on the motor to see where it’s the loudest will help you narrow it down

does this noise only happen sitting there at idle. Does it increase as your revs increase. Does the tone or sound change as your Rpm’s increase.

you will need to provide way more information to even come close to getting anything aside from guesses from anyone

Impossible to tell, try taking a video and get right and left sides. Sometimes cameras pick up sounds differently and something that is difficult to hear becomes clear in the video and sometimes it is the other way.

Kawasakis have a tick or rattle but a timing chain tensioner going bad or not right can cause a louder than normal ticking.
