Hi i need help with changing my stater cover ( flywheel cover), because i don't own a torque spanner so is there any recommendations on how much i should tighten up the bolts? Also could i get away with not replacing the gasket? And is there a gasket seel required?
Any info would be appreciated

I responded on your other thread asking the same sorts of questions about another cover you had removed. Download the manual. Look at a MC part site and see if there is a gasket (there is). Check the manual and see if it says you can re-use it. Follow whatever it says. Torqueing non-load bearing parts that use steel screws into aluminium need to be approached with a great deal of caution. Contact, plus somewhere around another half turn is all you should need.

Loctite and new gasket- lest you have bigger problems and have to redo your work.
Doing it wrong could potentially cost you a shit ton more than doing it correctly!
