I increased the exposure by 1 stop and tried as best as I could to smooth out the edges. Then just added the background and text. Seems simple enough but since I'm no photoshop pro it took me a while.

This was more personal practice with Photoshop than actually trying to create a good picture and I wanted to share my result.

At the very least I'm glad you guys liked the before photo. My photo skills are better than my photoshop skills that's for sure lol.

It's a little hard to see all details since I'm on a phone, but edges look ok. I would try playing with contrast and color balance to make the bike "pop" out of the picture. The bike and details appears a little dark/grey to me. You can also rise the exposure more

Personal preference is the 'before'.

Your 'before' photo looks 'real'... the second one looks like an ad. Commercial photography has it's place. I'd think of that as a shot for a portfolio, if you were applying for a photography job.

Either way, I like the gold lever, and the angle of the shot.

you missed cutting out the garage door color from between your throttle cables. Just a heads up. I would go with a more lively color scheme for your background as well, to make the white pop more. looks good though.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I'm wanting to improve my photography and Photoshop skills so I want to be a bit more active in this section of the forum.

It seems the consensus is I got it right the first time. I'll try taking more photos (of everything not just the bike) and do more editing and post up before and after shots for opinions.

the white background you added in the second one makes the bike blend in so it docent "pop" as much as the first one

I know nothing about photoshop, but that would be a cool photo to see if you could put in a background of a graffiti wall or something...you can completely ignore me since I have no idea what I'm talking about if you like :)

I prefer the look of the garage in the back...just cover the light spots in the garage and also right next to the fairing above the turn signal

Or if you decide to keep the edited version change the orange glow thats on the bike..Just my opinion
