So i placed my order on Ebay for a full fairing kit through a seller by the name "Motofansclub". That was 02/07/2015, today is already 03/10/2015. Anyone bought aftermarket fairings from this seller before or have hearding anything about this seller? Its been over a month and I didnt even get my SHIPPING number to track yet. :thumbdown:

Their ebay rating is pretty good. They are in china. I found one person on another site who was unhappy with the arrival time of his fairings.

It says:

Oh lawd... Looks like this is already sounding like its not going to end well for me. And hmm weird that his fairings arrived within a month. I still dont even have a tracking number yet. :coocoo

Well its not uncommon having to wait a month to receive items from china. Keep in mind sometimes the seller doesnt update the tracking # either. That was the only one negative review I found of them. They have over 5K transactions on ebay with a 98% positive rating. Keep hoping for the best man... Good luck!

I ordered my fairing set through "fairingdeal" off Ebay. They have a 100% positive feed back with 254 positive reviews. It gives me an estimated delivery date but it hasn't said anything about it being shipped yet so idk. Guess I'll keep ya'll posted.

a month isnt too unheard of. I've ordered many things from China off ebay and it takes some time to get shipped here. One that usually always takes a long time for me is DDM, but the product does arrive....eventually.

I have no choice but to keep waiting then. Also when i contacted the seller (I've sent him multiple messages), the last two messages i sent he gave me back almost the exact same reply almost word for word. This is discouraging. Any experience and thoughts on that? I can supply pics if you guys want for more insight on this. I havent ordered anything from Ebay before and my first purchase is also a big one Im a little anxious about it.

Probably didnt help that you ordered it in the middle of the chinese new year.
My Chinese fairings took about 6 weeks to arrive.
Maybe threaten to open a paypal dispute with them.

Good point. if I recall correctly from my experience with the last set, there was a disclaimer about it taking longer during holidays.

Got it, I had some suspicion it was going to be a little delayed due to chinese new year but nothing like this though. I will continue to wait it out. If it doesnt work out and I still dont have a tracking number by the middle of the month i will probably just try to get my full refund back.

Update on the fairings, so i contacted the seller again as to why its taking so long and "Motofansclub" sent me the exact same message as last time i asked (literally word for word). I dont know if this is normal but I feel like this seller isnt even caring. Poor communication and customer service is the vibe im getting from this. Am i wrong here guys? Should i just get a full refund or wait it out?

I ordered aftermarket full fairing kit from nicecycle.com placed the order on 2/7 and today is 3/16 and I still haven't seen them I have the tracking number that says the have been processed out of china. but nothing saying that they entered the US. this is the problem with Chinese fairings. I wish there was a company in the us that made them, that way you don't have to deal with 3rd party bull crap.

Good chance it is on a boat...boats are slow lol I wouldn't get too worried about it. I've ordered things that have taken a long time to come from China. Worse case, if the seller won't respond w/o an automated answer...file a refund with Paypal. GL

Update: So i filed an open claim request with Ebay and contacted the seller. With that he finally got back to me with a non-automated response and i FINALLY got a tracking number for my order. But that was 2 days ago. I checked the tracking number via Ebay and USPS and the item hasnt reached the carrier yet as I dont have any info it says. But at least its finally going to get shipped. Took lots of hassling and messages to get it done though so far -.-
